The Ad Club at IU is one of the fastest growing student organizations on campus, with membership numbers doubling year over year.

While general improvements and a merger with the Kelley School of Business have definitely played a part in the club’s growth, in fall 2023, I executed a massive student outreach campaign that truly made the club the talk of campus.

“Changing the Conversation”

Truth: Ad Club IU has made recent waves on campus after becoming the first dual-school student org. — a first at Indiana University. With ties to both The Media School and Kelley School of Business — and major club expansion planned, it’s crucial to get the word out on campus.

Strategy: Develop a multi-faceted, month-long student outreach campaign letting students know that Ad Club IU is changing the conversation. If you’ve experienced the club before, prepare for major change. If you’ve never heard of the club, now is the time to join.
